Plain English
We don't collect anything about you.
What the app stores
Only what you type in or pick: checklist ticks, your own list items, appointments, money planner amounts, My day steps, your calm plan, your points, badges and good days, your Life Quest progress and scores, nicknames and phone numbers of your people, your settings (like Easy mode, text size and the state or territory you picked for local help lines), and a scrambled (hashed) version of your PIN if you set one. It also remembers how many days you've opened it (a number, nothing else) so it knows when to suggest adding it to your home screen.
The app stops you saving things that look like ID, card, bank or Medicare numbers.
Where it's stored
In the browser storage on your phone, and nowhere else. There is no account, no server database, no cloud backup. We can't see it, and we can't get it back if it's deleted.
What gets sent over the internet
Nothing you type. The app downloads its own files the first time you open it so it works offline. It uses no analytics, no advertising, no tracking cookies and no outside fonts or scripts.
How to delete it
Settings, then Wipe everything. Uninstalling the app or clearing your browser's site data also deletes it.
If your phone is lost
Anyone who can open your phone and the app could see what you saved. That's why the app asks for nicknames only, offers a PIN lock, and tells you never to save ID numbers, card numbers or addresses.
Read aloud
Read aloud uses your phone's own voice. On most phones this works without internet. Some phones may use an online voice service, run by the phone maker, to speak the words shown on screen. Nothing you type is read out unless you press a speaker button.
Help lines
When you tap Call, your phone's dialler handles the call. When you tap a website link, it opens that website in your browser. Those services and websites have their own privacy rules. The app does not tell them anything about you.
Children and young people
Landing Kit is made for people aged 15 and up who are starting out on their own. Because it collects nothing, it collects nothing from children either.
App store versions
If you download Landing Kit from Google Play or the App Store, it works the same way. The store may collect its own information about downloads under its own privacy policy. The app itself sends nothing.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the date below changes too.
