Plain English

The deal, in short.

It's general information

Landing Kit gives general tips, checklists and contacts to help you get organised. It isn't legal, financial, medical or mental health advice, and it doesn't replace a worker, lawyer, doctor or counsellor. For advice about your situation, talk to one of the services in the app.

In an emergency

Call 000. Landing Kit can't call for help for you, can't see where you are, and no one watches what you save.

Help lines and links

We check every phone number and link, and the app shows when they were last checked. Services can change their numbers or hours without telling us, so if something doesn't work, try 000, Lifeline on 13 11 14, or search for the service. Links take you to other websites that we don't run. Their own terms and privacy rules apply there.

What you save is yours

Everything you type stays on your phone. We can't see it, back it up or get it back. Don't save ID numbers, card or bank numbers, Medicare numbers or addresses. You can wipe it all any time in Settings.

Using it

The app is free to use for yourself. Please don't copy the app, its words or its artwork to sell or pass off as your own. Crow, the artwork and the Lit Robot name and logo belong to Lit Robot.

No promises beyond the law

We work hard to keep Landing Kit accurate and working, but we can't promise it will always be right, up to date or available. Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Apart from those rights, we're not responsible for loss that comes from relying on the app.

Changes

We may update the app and these terms. The date at the bottom shows when they last changed. These terms follow the laws of Victoria, Australia.
